Our Next Premarital Workshop is
May 21, 22 & 23
At Christ’s Church we believe that every new marriage, especially, needs a strong foundation to start with. This workshop is designed to give couples the tools they need to develop that strong foundation to begin with.
If you are planning to married by a Pastor from Christ’s Church, we require that couples have premarital counseling by a professional counselor or a pastor and attending our workshop fulfills that requirement. The registration deadline for the May workshop is 30 days prior to the event (April 23rd). Couples need to complete two profiles prior to the registration deadline, the Taylor/Johnson Temperament Analysis and Prepare/Enrich Relationship Profile. The couples will then view three video segments form H. Norman Wright’s “So You’re Getting Married” video series complete some pre-class reading prior to the weekend.
The topics discussed during the workshop are; “Reasons Why You Marry”, “Commitment”, “Keeping Your Marriage Vibrant”, “What Makes Marriage Last”, “Marriage is a Refining Process”, “Intimacy”, “Communication”, “Money” and “Sex” as well as the Covenant of Marriage.
The cost of the entire weekend is $225.00 which includes all materials, profiles, lunch on Saturday and snacks for the whole weekend. The workshop will be on Friday from 7-9:30pm, Saturday from 9am-4pm, and Sunday from 1-4:30pm.
