Premarital Workshop
At Christ’s Church we believe that every new marriage needs a strong foundation to build upon. This workshop is designed to give couples the tools they need to develop that strong foundation.
If you are planning to be married by a Pastor from Christ’s Church, we require that couples have premarital counseling by a professional counselor or a pastor. Attending our workshop will fulfill that requirement. Couples need to complete two profiles prior to the registration deadline, the Taylor/Johnson Temperament Analysis and Prepare/Enrich Relationship Profile.
We are using a new video series for our Premarital Workshop entitled “Marriage 101 Back to the Basics”. We are excited to offer this updated version of our Premarital presented in video by Gary & Barbara Rosberg and Dave Ramsey.
The topics discussed during the workshop are; “Marital Expectations”, “Communication & Emotional Intimacy”, “Personality Differences”, “Conflict Resolution”, “Spiritual Intimacy – 1 + 1 = One”, “Relating with Money part 1 – Nerds & Free Spirits Unite”, “Relating with Money Part 2 – Singles & Children”, “Sexual Intimacy” and “Cohabitation” as well as the Covenant of Marriage.
The cost of the entire weekend is $225, which includes all materials, profiles, lunch on Saturday and snacks for the whole weekend. The workshop will be on Friday from 7-9:30pm, Saturday from 9am-4pm, and Sunday from 1-4:30pm.
