We are pleased to announce the launch of CCoF Sermon Wiki today! This new infrastructure will finally allow you to search for (and even browse for) sermons in a very powerful way. We hope that by offering our sermon notes in wiki form, we will be able to offer an even more complete experience, as anyone can add in parts of the sermon that isn’t included in the actual notes. Every sermon is linked to the audio recording of that sermon, which should serve as the mastor record of the contents of the sermon. This will also allow us to expand on some common or previously-mentioned concepts which may be new to non-members, so that they can really follow what the pastor is saying.
We hope this will be a very useful tool for everyone, from individuals searching for help on a particular issue, to small groups and leaders, to even our pastors preparing their sermons and being able to look at cross-referenced sermons from the past.
If you’re familiar with the cross-referencing and categorizations used on sites like wikipedia, you get the idea of what we’re going for.
Please note, we do require an e-mail address before you can edit any of the articles, but anyone can view and print anything you want, anytime!
So please stop by at http://www.ccof.net/sermonwiki and look around or even help us out!
We have been working for quite a while setting up a new CCoF Prayer Request Hotline. Today, we are pleased to announce that we are opening it up! It is available at http://www.ccof.net/ccofprays. Our goal is to provide so many ways to request our members to pray for you, at least one method should be available to you at almost all times.
You can request prayer from your phone (call or txt 637-6234), e-mail (ccofprays@gmail.com), or type it in at the hotline webpage. If Flagstaff isn’t a local call for you, there’s even a widget on the page that will request that the hotline voicemail calls YOU for free (in the U.S, and your carrier may charge you for call airtime).
Then you can get a copy of each week’s requests from Facebook, Twitter, via e-mail, RSS or the hotline webpage itself. (We edit everything to keep your name/details off the web, though our staff and prayer team will pray for you by name and have all the details you give us). Please check it out, and remember to always be praying!
Our Church Office will be closed Monday, September 6 Labor Day. We will re-open Tuesday, September 7 at 9am.
