Celebrate Recovery
Come and Check us out…Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery ministry is a “Christ centered” 12 step program which is based upon eight principles found in the Beatitudes of Jesus. We celebrate God’s healing power as we work through these steps and recovery principles. Many who have come, and have experienced Celebrate Recovery, are now free from addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. They are no longer alone and defeated; instead they are over- comer’s in Christ Jesus.
…. “This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and--- most importantly---a stronger personal relationship with God and with others”.
John Baker (founder of Celebrate Recovery)
….Do you know someone who struggling with a hurt, hang-up or addictive habit… someone who is most dear to you that you would like to reach out and help?
…..Tell them about Celebrate Recovery! Bring them with you, and we will help them by sharing with them that there is an “answer to their recovery”.
Celebrate Recovery is a safe environment where they can release their heavy burdens and step into the “light” where healing truly begins. As they work through the CR program, they will discover “hope, truth and grace” found only in our loving Savoir Jesus Christ, and they will be loved by a family of brothers and sisters who have had likewise experiences and recovered in Christ.
CR Testimony: …..As a Christian believer for 7 years and one who was very involved in our local church, I felt I had reached a level of spirituality that was never to be shaken. But on a business road trip I made a decision to turn on a pornography station. My life changed drastically and I began to sink deep into a sexual addiction that I could not control, where I would find myself lying to others to conceal my sin. I came to a point where I was so tired of continually finding myself turning to my addiction that I confess to friend my problem. He was very helpful at my time of need and directed me to Celebrate Recovery held on Friday nights. I have now attended CR for (4) years and have come out of the “trap of denial” and have stepped into the “light of truth”. I have now experienced 1 ½ years of control over my addiction thanks to the grace of God and my friends at Celebrate Recovery.
Celebrate Recovery meets every Friday night beginning with a dinner from 6:00 pm to 7:00pm. Following this we have live worship music and then a short lesson and or a video taped testimony; this runs from 7:00 pm to 8:00pm. At 8:00pm we break into “struggle related and gender specific small open share groups to 9:00pm. We finish up with “solid rock cafe” for desserts and fellowship from 9:00pm to 10:00 pm.
Celebrate Recovery is powerfully changing the lives in our community!!!
